I am a Level 2 Recreational Running Coach with Athletics Australia and I coach people from our Learn to Run program right through to Half Marathon, Marathon and Ultra distances. I have run one ultra marathon, two marathons and nine half marathons but I’m most passionate about helping people to achieve their goals.
I believe that once you remove the limits on what you can do physically, it opens your entire life up to a whole world of possibilities.
I started to run when my youngest was about three months old and for about a year I was pretty much an exclusive treadmill runner, but then I started to run outside and that’s when I really started to love it.
In 2014 I completed my accreditation and I have been coaching at Operation Move ever since.
I am passionate about what your body can do, if you give it what it needs. I think that far too often people waste time being at war with their own body. And how much time are you willing to waste on that, really? Another year? Another month? Even another second is too much.
If you train for athleticism, you will be amazed at just how far you can go. Change is hard. Staying the same is hard. So choose wisely. The time is going to pass anyway.
So technically I’m a running coach, but really I’m in the business of showing people how amazing they are. What if the reason you’ve never been able to fix yourself is because you were never broken?
